FIELD: biotechnology.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to bacterial lux-biosensors for the detection of sub-nanomolar concentrations of acyl homoserine lactone derivatives, as well as to bacterial lux-biosensors for the detection of acyl homoserine lactone derivatives. Biosensors consist of Escherichia coli cells transformed with a pair of plasmids, which contain genes obtained either from Aliivibrio fischeri, or from Aliivibrio logei, or from Aliivibrio salmonicida, and luxCDABE Photorhabdus luminescens genes.
EFFECT: obtaining bacterial lux-biosensors for the detection of homoserine lactone derivatives.
