FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to hydroformylation methods for the production of aldehydes. The method includes bringing into contact in a reaction zone of reagents including olefin, hydrogen, and CO, in the presence of a catalyst based on a rhodium-organophosphite complex, optionally, with free organophosphite ligand, and from 0.1 to 3% by wt. per the total weight of liquid in the reaction zone of at least one polymer having a structure of the formula (I) or the formula (II), values of radicals of which are specified in the claims, while the solubility of polymer in aldehyde is more than or equal to 1% by wt. at 40°C.
EFFECT: reduction in rhodium losses in hydroformylation processes.
