FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: method for stabilizing phosphite ligand against degradation in the reaction liquid of hydroformylation, which includes adding epoxide to the reaction liquid and separating one or more phosphoric acid compounds from the reaction liquid by processing the reaction liquid with aqueous buffer solution in terms sufficient to neutralise and remove, at least, some amount of phosphoric acid compounds from the reaction liquid.
EFFECT: processing and removal of acidic impurities in the entire reaction system, rapid response to sharp increases in the amount of acid.
