FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to a method for the treatment of a surface of a medical metal implant of a titanium alloy selected from Grade 4, Ti6Al7Nb, BT1-0, BT-6. Beam-cluster treatment of the surface of the implant is carried out by a cluster beam of argon atoms with purity of 99.999%, wherein control voltage for the cluster beam of argon atoms is at least 20 kV at an average number of argon atoms in the cluster beam of no more than 2500. Pressure at an input to a nozzle is at least 5 atm, and pressure in a working chamber is no more than 0.2 mPa. The treatment of the implant for osseointegration is carried out at a radiation dose of at least 5×1016 atom/cm2, and the treatment of the implant for cardio-vascular surgery is carried out at a radiation dose of at least 2×1017 atom/cm2.

EFFECT: provision by different parameters of a modified surface of a medical metal implant depending on its use in the surgery.
