FIELD: veterinary medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to veterinary medicine, namely, to surgery, and can be used to treat inflammatory and degenerative diseases of hip joints in dogs. The medicinal product is injected from the lateral surface of the hip, in the upper greater trochanter of the femur, with the needle deviating by 15 degrees from the axis of the femoral head and neck. The needle is directed longitudinally relative to the femoral neck and passed at the level of the lower boundary of the upper third of the intertrochanteric crest, wherein the needle is injected all the way up to the bone; then a mandrel is used to screw and push the needle into the thickness of the bone cortex by another 0.3 to 0.5 cm of depth, up to the centre of the femoral head.
EFFECT: method allows the needle to be passed precisely longitudinally along the centre of the femoral neck without X-ray control due to the combination of techniques of the claimed invention.
