FIELD: electrical engineering.

SUBSTANCE: proposed is an energy transmission apparatus, constituting an energy transmitter (201) or an energy receiver (205), transmitting energy using an electromagnetic energy transmission signal, wherein a repeating time frame is used, said frame containing the energy transmission time interval and the object detection time interval. The energy transmission circuit (303, 307) comprises a coil (203, 207) configured to receive or generate an energy transmission signal for the duration of the energy transmission time intervals. The data exchange apparatus (315, 323) is configured to exchange data with another apparatus via an electromagnetic data exchange signal. The resonant data exchange circuit (317, 321) comprises an antenna (319, 325) configured to transmit or receive an electromagnetic data exchange signal. In the process of data exchange, the resonant circuit (317, 321) provides resonance at the first resonant frequency in the data exchange apparatus (315, 323). The controller (333, 335) is configured to adapt the resonant data exchange circuit so as not to create resonance at the first resonant frequency on the data exchange apparatus within the object detection time intervals.

EFFECT: provided better detection of resonant objects such as smart cards (e.g., NFC cards).
