FIELD: testing equipment.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to equipment for mechanical testing at elevated temperatures. The chamber contains a rectangular housing, thermal insulation, heating elements located on the side walls inside the housing, connected to an external power source. The housing is made in the form of a metal frame with walls in the form of frames. The side end walls of the housing are formed by several layers of thermal insulation material fixed to the frame, the bottom of the chamber is made open. In the heat-insulating material of the opposite side walls, brackets made of heat-resistant wire with heat-resistant properties are inserted from above, on which several layers of heat-insulating material are placed forming the chamber cover. Cylindrical supports made of refractory material and equipped with recesses for zigzag heating elements made of wire made of the same material as the brackets are fixed on the opposite side walls inside the chamber using fasteners located along a horizontal line that fasten the layers of thermal insulation material, while the upper part of each turn of the heating elements is located in the recess of the appropriate support. The terminals of the heating elements are located at opposite ends of the chamber and are equipped with heat sinks.

EFFECT: possibility of using the chamber as part of various types of vibration benches during long-term complex thermomechanical, gas-dynamic tests of samples of various sizes at temperatures of 1350°C.
