FIELD: metallurgy.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the refining of molten aluminum in filtration devices. The device contains a working chamber installed in the housing with inlet and outlet holes for metal, a vertical partition installed inside the working chamber and not reaching the bottom, a filter element fixed inside the working chamber between its walls and the vertical partition. The working chamber is made with the possibility of sealing the inlet and outlet holes for metal. The lower surface of the cover is made with the possibility of a snug fit to the upper part of the vertical partition due to flexible heat-insulating elements held by a heat-resistant stack. The cover is equipped with a sealed air channel with a supercharger and a branch pipe located in the zones of the working chamber on opposite sides of the vertical partition. Inside the airtight air duct, there are heating elements controlled by temperature sensors.

EFFECT: invention allows to reduce the content of mechanical impurities in the resulting metal and improve its quality.
