FIELD: material processing.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a friction part equipped with coating, which can be used for car, aviation, or space industries. The specified friction part contains metal substrate, coating covering substrate, made of unhydrated amorphous carbon in the form of tetrahedral amorphous carbon ta-C or amorphous carbon a-C, and a sublayer based on chromium, carbon, and silicon, located between metal substrate and coating of unhydrated amorphous carbon. Coating of unhydrated amorphous carbon is applied to the specified sublayer. The sublayer has following atomic ratios at an interface with coating of unhydrated amorphous carbon: the ratio between a silicon content and a chromium content (Si/Cr) with a value between 0.35 and 0.60, and the ratio between a carbon content and a silicon content (C/Si) with a value between 2.5 and 3.5.
EFFECT: friction part is obtained, containing unhydrated DLC coating with satisfactory adhesion to substrate, which has sufficiently high mechanical properties.
