SUBSTANCE: invention relates to organic chemistry, to an improved method for obtaining complex di-substituted esters of some dicarboxylic acids C₂-C₁₀ with monatomic alcohols C₄ of various structures. Such compounds are widely used in the paint-and-varnish and cosmetics industry. A method for obtaining complex disubstituted esters of some dicarboxylic acids C₂-C₁₀ with monatomic alcohols C₄ of various structures includes the process of esterification of dicarboxylic acids with monatomic alcohol, while processing a mixture containing one of the acids: oxalic, succinic, azelaic, adipic or sebacic and one of the alcohols: butyl, isobutyl, second- or tert-butyl, taken in a molar ratio of 1:2.5, respectively, is conducted at a temperature of 120±10°C with microwave radiation with a power of 700 W, according to the invention, synthesis is carried out in the presence of 0.1, wt. %, mesh polyacrylic acid with a particle size of 1-3 mm for 30 minutes, after which the target product is filtered through a folded paper filter.
