FIELD: beverage making.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method for application of a sealing element to a cup-like container of a capsule intended for beverage making in a beverage making device. In this case, the container has a lower wall, a sidewall with an outer surface, an open end, and a ring-shaped edge, which passes from the sidewall of the container at the open end. The edge includes an outer surface of the edge connected to the outer surface of the sidewall in a transition area, and an inner surface of the edge located opposite the outer surface for sealed connection to an outlet wall for beverage outlet. In this case, the method includes following stages: deposition of melted thermoplastic polymer material, using a deposition device, on the outer surface of the ring-shaped edge and/or on the transition area, following pressing of thermoplastic polymer material, using a stamp, while material preserves a capability of plastic deformation, in such a way that to provide its tight adjacency in its final form to the outer surface of the ring-shaped edge and/or the transition area, and, thus, formation of a ring-shaped sealing element attached to the container. The invention additionally relates to a device made with the possibility of implementation of the method.
