FIELD: packaging.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to packaging of food products. More specifically, the present invention relates to ventilated packages used for heat treatment of a food product in such a package. A package for heat treatment of a food product and a method for the manufacture of a package for heat treatment are described in the claim. The package for heat treatment of the food product may contain film, a longitudinal seal for the formation of a hermetically sealed sleeve, the first transverse seal at the first end of the package, the second transverse seal at the second end of the package. The package may have a ratio of a surface area to a volume of the food product from 3:1 to 23:1. The package may contain at least one layer containing at least 5% of polybutylene. The longitudinal seal may pass from the first end of the package to the second end of the package. The longitudinal seal may provide self-sealing of film.
EFFECT: efficient regulated ventilation for the described package.
