FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely, to oncology, orthopaedics, and traumatology, and can be used for bone resection. At the preoperative stage, using computer modelling and 3D printing, the boundaries of resection are outlined, and a personalised template for resection is manufactured, made with a surface congruent to the section of the bone surface including the planned line of resection thereof defined in the template by holes made therein, transverse relative to the bone-adjacent surface. In accordance with the preoperative plan, access to the bone is made, wherein the bone area of the planned resection is skeletonised, and the template is installed on the bone surface. After the template is positioned, wires are passed into the holes thereof, followed by perforating the bone. After all wires are positioned, the template is removed from the operating wound. The bone is then resected along the wires using saws or chisels, and the bone fragment is removed, followed by removing the wires.
EFFECT: method excludes the entry of template particles into the operating wound during resection, allows for resection performed by chisels as well as saws, and provides the possibility of positioning the instruments in different planes relative to the resection surface.
