FIELD: medicine; cardiology.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to cardiology; it can be used for the prediction of a positive response to cardio-resynchronizing therapy (hereinafter – CRT) in patients with chronic heart failure of II and III functional class. Patients are subjected to perfusion myocardium scintigraphy with 99mTc-methoxy-isobutyl-isonitrile, synchronized with electrocardiography. A width of a phase histogram is determined, representing global desynchrony of the left ventricle, and radionuclide equilibrium tomoventriculography is performed, based on data of which interventricular desynchrony is determined. Then, a probability of a positive response to cardio-resynchronizing therapy is calculated by the formula

where x1 is a numeric value of the width of the phase histogram; x2 is a numeric value of interventricular desynchrony. If a prognostic coefficient is more than 0.786, then a positive response to cardio-resynchronizing therapy is predicted in the patient.

EFFECT: method allows for selection of patients for CRT due to determination of prediction of a response to therapy.
