SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to the field of magnetic resonance imaging (hereinafter – MRI) systems. A passive radio-frequency (hereinafter – RF) shimming resonator has the first resonance capability and the second resonance capability, wherein the passive RF shimming resonator contains a switching device made with the possibility of switching between the first and the second resonance capability in accordance with a transmission mode (TX mode) and a reception mode (RX mode) of RF field emitted by RF antenna device of MRI system.
EFFECT: provision of a passive RF shimming resonator for homogenization of RF field emitted by RF antenna device of MRI system.
