FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medical equipment, namely to safety devices for a prefilled syringe. A safety device comprises a hollow support body having a releasable positioner configured to set the prefilled syringe in the support body, a hollow external body mounted to slide with respect to the support body and configured to receive the support body, as well as a non-rotating release bushing mounted in the support body. The release bushing is movable with respect to the support body and configured to lock the positioner. At least one substantially flat side wall of the support body bears a guide. The release bushing comprises at least one flexible lever with a guide pin extending from the flexible lever and projecting through the guide. The guide pin is configured movable within the guide and along it in a plane determined by the substantially flat side wall. A drive rail is formed on at least one substantially flat internal surface of the external body. The drive rail is configured to bear against the guide pin to drive the guide pin along the guide when the external body slides with respect to the support body.

EFFECT: using the invention enables providing improved action of the safety device and ease of operation, ensures automatic actuation of a syringe unlock and return mechanism.
