SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a complex for aircraft parking at an airport and a corresponding method. The complex contains a telemetry system capable of detecting an aircraft within the measurement zone, wherein the specified measurement zone includes a parking area and a controller configured to determine, based on the measurement data received from the telemetry system, the estimated positions of the outer surface on the aircraft. The estimated position of the outer surface is the estimated position of the actual position of the outer surface on the aircraft. The actual position of the outer surface forms the boundary of the extent of the aircraft in the measurement area. The controller is configured to compare the estimated positions of the outer surface with the coordinates of the parking area to determine whether the estimated position of the outer surface is outside the parking area, and issue a signal for dangerous aircraft parking.
EFFECT: efficient and safe aircraft parking is ensured.
