SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to aerosol generating systems containing aerosol generating devices and aerosol generating products related to aerosol generating devices, and, in particular, to aerosol generating systems containing devices and products with a surface, which changes a shape in response to a parameter related to a device or a product. An aerosol generating system contains an aerosol generating product containing a product case and aerosol forming substrate located in the case. The system additionally contains an aerosol generating device containing a case, which forms a socket made with the possibility of accommodation of the product. The device additionally contains an electronic control circuit located in the case, and it contains a sensor functionally connected to the electronic control circuit and made with the possibility of recording a state of the device or the product, when placing the product in the socket. In addition, the system contains an element changing a shape, located on at least one of the product case and the device case. The element changing a shape changes a shape in response to the state of the device or the product, recorded by the sensor, to cause sufficient change in a shape of the outer surface of the device or the product to provide tactile feedback to a user.
EFFECT: invention is aimed at the provision of an aerosol generating device capable of providing to a user information, which can be interpreted without vibrations, sound, or a clearly visible hint.
