SUBSTANCE: hookah devices. The hookah device contains a vessel containing an internal volume configured to accommodate liquid. The vessel contains an inlet and an outlet of free space. The device contains a receiving socket for placing a cartridge containing a substrate that forms an aerosol. The heating element is configured to heat the cartridge when the cartridge is placed in the receiving slot. The device contains a tube through which the generated aerosol can flow into the vessel through the inlet. The piercing element is configured to pierce the cartridge. The actuating element is functionally connected to the piercing element. Actuating the actuator causes the cartridge to be pierced by the piercing element. The fuse is operatively coupled to the actuator and is configured to prevent the actuator from actuating the piercing element to pierce the cartridge until the cartridge is inserted into the receiving socket.

EFFECT: preventing unintentional puncture of the cartridge and maintaining the freshness of its contents.
