FIELD: radiolocation.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to radiolocation, namely to methods for radar detection and recognition of radar objects; it can be used for identification of a group of one-type small unmanned aerial vehicles (hereinafter – UAV). In the claimed method, a radar station receives signals reflected from an aerial target for K probing periods and performs their primary coordinated processing in a maintenance window, detection, and analogue-to-digital conversion. Next, maximums of envelopes of reflected signal amplitudes are isolated, the ratio of a mathematical waiting assessment of maximums of envelopes of the reflected signal to their mod is calculated, a classification solution is made on belonging of the aerial target to a class of the group of small one-type UAV/spatially focused group by comparison of the ratio of the mathematical waiting assessment of maximums of envelopes of the reflected signal to their mod, calculated from K envelopes of reflected signal amplitudes, with a preset threshold value.
EFFECT: increase in the quality of detection of a group of one-type small aerial vehicles, formed by a large number of UAV being in one radar permission element with limited time for making classification solutions.
