METHOD FOR VAGINOPLASTY FOR VAGINAL APLASIA IN GIRLS Russian patent published in 2022 - IPC A61B17/42

Abstract RU 2778831 C1

FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, specifically to pediatric surgery and gynecology. The operation is performed by two surgical teams, 4 surgeons in total: simultaneously on the abdominal organs and on the perineum. First, a Foley catheter is inserted into the bladder, and a tampon with vaseline oil is inserted into the rectum. An incision is made in the mucosa in the area of the entrance to the vagina. A canal between the urethra, bladder and rectum is recreated. An audit of the abdominal cavity and small pelvis is carried out. Then, a segment of the sigmoid colon 15 cm long is mobilized on a vascular pedicle. With the help of staplers, a selected section of the sigmoid colon is resected with the preservation of the vascular pedicle. The integrity of the sigmoid colon is restored using an endoscopic stapler. Check the tightness of the intestinal anastomosis. Remove the ligature, which limited the area of resection in the proximal sigmoid colon. From the side of the abdominal cavity, the transitional fold of the peritoneum is opened. A 180-degree segment of the sigmoid colon on a vascular pedicle is lowered into the created tunnel. The segment of the intestine is placed in the small pelvis. The intestine is fixed with the reconstruction of the transitional fold of the peritoneum, then peritonization is performed.

EFFECT: method ensures the restoration of optimal anatomical and physiological conditions necessary for a normal sexual life almost immediately after surgery and throughout the rest of life.
