FIELD: medicine; operative gynecology.

SUBSTANCE: peritoneal colpopoiesis with partial obliteration of the Douglas pouch in patients with uterine and vaginal aplasia is performed. In this case, in conditions of the deficiency of Douglas pouch peritoneum, purse sutures are applied to the peritoneum of the pararectal region from one or both sides, forming walls and the dome of the neo-vagina.

EFFECT: method allows for formation of walls and the dome of the neo-vagina in patients with an adhesive process in the pelvis, deficiency of Douglas pouch peritoneum, as well as in patients, which have had operations on pelvic organs, allows for reduction in risks of traumatization of the rectum, bladder, urethra, caused by disorders in topographic and anatomical relations of pelvic structures.
