FIELD: construction.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of construction, in particular to the means of horizontal directional drilling (HDD) or directional drilling with the expansion of engineering wells, for example, by drilling and to tools used in trenchless construction of pipelines in the ground. The device for directional expansion of the pilot well includes an asymmetric expander (2) with a canister (3) attached to it to accommodate the measuring probe (4) of the HDD location system. In this case, the case (3) with the measuring probe (4) is installed longitudinally, rigidly fixed directly behind the asymmetrical cutting expander (2) and connected to the tightened pipeline (7) through the swivel (5). The asymmetric expander (2) is made in the form of a combination of halves of two symmetrical cutting expanders of different designs.
EFFECT: implementation of an asymmetric cutting reamer in the form of a combination of halves of two symmetrical cutting reamers of different design makes it possible to create non-equilibrium shear forces in the form of transverse shear forces when pulling the drill string, and the rigid attachment of the canister with the measuring probe immediately behind the asymmetric reamer makes it possible, when using a swivel, to avoid impact on of torsional loads with unhindered display of the position of the asymmetric expander according to the readings of the measuring probe, providing together an increase in the reliability of the device.
