FIELD: medical equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a hemostatic tourniquet. The tourniquet contains a buckle, a tightening device and an inelastic band. The tightening device is made in the form of a ratchet mechanism, including the base of the ratchet mechanism, on one side having an axis with a fixed buckle with a locking tongue, and on the opposite side — a drum with a braid fixed at one end. Sprockets are installed on the drum from the outer sides of the base of the ratchet mechanism. The base of the ratchet mechanism has an automatic lock in the form of a locking plate and two springs. The drum has a handle consisting of two plates connected to each other by two couplers. The handle is equipped with a tightening mechanism in the form of a plate. The ratchet mechanism has a U-shape with a bend along the radius towards the formation of a tourniquet loop.
EFFECT: technical result of the proposed solution is to provide the possibility of applying the tourniquet for a short time with one hand, the possibility of applying a dosed force when applying the tourniquet, the reliability of the tightening mechanism and the locking mechanism, as well as a simple principle of operation.
