FIELD: composite materials.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to composites based on partially crystalline fusible polyetherimide with reinforcing fibres, processed by the die casting method, extrusion and pressing. Polymer composite materials produced based thereon can be used for manufacturing high-strength, heat- and thermal-resistant parts for products of structural, electrotechnical, general and special purposes, used in automobile, aircraft, ship building, space technology, petrochemical industry, medicine, and in railway transport. The crystallisable fusible polyetherimide composite according to the invention comprises the following ratio of components, % wt.: 48.5 to 79.45 partially crystalline polyetherimide, 20 to 50 reinforcing fibres selected from carbon fibres, basalt fibres and glass fibres, 0.5 to 1 bisphthalimide as a plasticiser, 0.05 to 0.5 carbon nanoparticles.
EFFECT: creation of a crystallisable fusible polyetherimide composite capable of recrystallisation for manufacturing products by the die casting method, extrusion, hot pressing, exhibiting an improved complex of thermal, strength and other operational characteristics, compared to analogues.
