FIELD: frequency detection.
SUBSTANCE: invention is aimed at detecting vibrations in the frequency range of 0.1-5 THz. The essence of the invention lies in the fact that the terahertz oscillation detector contains a heterostructure based on layers of antiferromagnetic and non-magnetic metal sequentially arranged on the substrate and receiving electrodes connected to the recorder, while the heterostructure is made on a substrate transparent to terahertz radiation, the antiferromagnetic is a uniaxial antiferromagnetic insulator with a light axis of anisotropy, which is applied to the substrate in the form of a pin the comb structure, while the heterostructure includes a means to adjust the operating frequency, made in the form of a source of a constant magnetic field, the intensity vector of which is directed parallel to the light axis of the antiferromagnetic material.
EFFECT: expansion of the functional capabilities of regulating the detector parameters by means of frequency tuning by a constant magnetic field, an increase in the value of the rectified voltage at resonance.
