FIELD: applied physics.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to applied physics and can be used as a device for generating oscillations in range of 0.1-5 THz. Terahertz oscillator consists of single oscillators, each of which is a two-layer structure of a layer of non-magnetic metal with strong spin-orbit interaction, and an antiferromagnetic layer arranged on it, which are arranged in a circuit and connected by a common upper layer of non-magnetic metal. Antiferromagnetic material is a biaxial antiferromagnetic insulator with an easy axis of anisotropy.
EFFECT: possibility of controlling synchronization of coupled oscillators by changing direct currents flowing through layers of non-magnetic metal in single oscillators.
