SUBSTANCE: invention relates to signal processing, in particular to methods for checking aircraft avionics. In the method for checking the operability of the OBCPS in the mode of simulation of an intruder aircraft (IA) equipped with a mode S responder, during the first period of time at a frequency of 1090 MHz, a signal is emitted in the S mode of the DF=11 format, after receiving which a request signal of the UF=0 format is emitted at a frequency of 1030 MHz. The request is received and responded to with a signal in the format DF = 0 at a frequency of 1090 MHz. During the second period of time, by means of a device that implements the verification of the interaction of the OBCPS with the secondary radar station (SRS) and IA in the time domain, the operation of the SRS is simulated, for which the transmitter is switched to the transmission frequency of 1030 MHz, and the receiver is switched to the reception frequency of 1090 MHz, and request signals are emitted in the formats UF = 4, 20, which are responded by the OBCPS with signals in the formats DF = 4, 20. During the third period of time, with a period of 1 s, the OBCPS is checked for the issuance of coordination messages in the UF = 16 format, while the receiver of the device is configured to receive a frequency of 1090 MHz. A method for checking the operability of the on-board collision prevention system in the simulation mode of the IA equipped with the responder mode A/S is also claimed.

EFFECT: ensuring the possibility of checking all channels of the on-board collision prevention system (OBCPS) without expanding the hardware of the control and verification equipment (CVE).
