SUBSTANCE: invention relates to convertible devices that are compact during transportation and provide the required configuration and functional properties in working order. The transformable screen contains a frame of a set of elastic radial rods (1) oriented along the longitudinal axis of the protected object (2) and fixed in a fixed (3) and movable (4) hubs located on the sides opposite from the protected object (2), a system of longitudinal ( 5) and transverse (6) clamps attached to the elastic radial rods (1) by attachment points (7), an elastic protective shell attached to the frame and consisting of outer (8) and inner (9) protective shells, and a screen opening device ( ten). The screen opening device (10) is equipped with a rotation mechanism (11) connected to the movable hub (4) and made with the possibility of its angular displacement in a plane perpendicular to the orientation direction of the elastic rods (1), for example, using a torsion spring. The elastic rods (1) are fixed in the fixed (3) and movable (4) hubs with the possibility of their angular displacement, including in a plane perpendicular to the orientation direction of the elastic rods (1), for example, using spherical hinges (12). The movable hub (4) is rotated relative to the fixed hub (3). Elastic radial rods (1) together with protective shells (8) and (9) are laid in a spiral along the surface of the protected object (2).

EFFECT: simplification of the design, increase of its reliability of operation and reduction of the longitudinal dimensions of the device in the initial state, as well as versatility of use due to the convenient layout of the mechanism for opening the transformable screen, which involves the arrangement of the elastic radial frame rods in the initial state in a spiral along the surface of the protected object, and the fit of all screen elements to the protected object.
