FIELD: communication technology.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a communication technology; it can be used in an access node and user equipment for the restoration of communication beams. The method includes generation of a configuration message including information indicating a set of reference signals of the first type of reference signals and a set of reference signals of the second type of reference signals, used for identification of a new beam, and information indicating resources of a random access channel, allocated for transmission of preamble sequences, while each resource of the random access channel is connected to the reference signal of the first type of reference signals, sending to one or several user equipment (hereinafter – UE) of the configuration message, reception from UE of the preamble sequence in one of resources of the random access channel, and determination of UE identifier according to the preamble sequence and one of resources of the random access channel.
EFFECT: increase in the quality of communication due to the provision of restoration of communication beams.
