FIELD: metallurgy.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to metallurgy, namely to the production of electrical anisotropic steel used for the manufacture of transformer magnetic circuits. The method for production of strips from electrical anisotropic steel includes smelting and casting of steel into slabs, their hot rolling to obtain hot-rolled strips, etching, the first cold rolling, decarburizing-recrystallization annealing, the second cold rolling, degreasing, applying heat-resistant coating, high-temperature annealing, applying an insulating coating and straightening annealing. The second cold rolling is carried out in one pass with controlled cooling of the strips by supplying a coolant-lubricant with a temperature of 45-55°C at a pressure of 0.25-0.60 MPa and a flow rate of 140-200 m3/h with the provision after rolling of the temperature of the strips of 100-200°C.

EFFECT: level of specific magnetic losses is reduced.
