FIELD: video data processing technologies.
SUBSTANCE: inventions group relates to video data processing technologies. A device for encoding moving frames is proposed. The device comprises a history-based predictor candidate list modification module configured to add encoded block motion information to the end of the history-based motion vector predictor candidate list. The encoding device also includes a module for extracting potentially suitable variants of spatial motion information, a module for extracting potentially suitable variants of motion information based on the history. At the same time, the module for extracting potentially suitable variants of motion information based on the history extracts motion information based on the history by referring to the list of potentially suitable variants of motion vector predictors based on the history in order from the beginning, without comparing the motion information with the potentially suitable variant of the spatial motion information.
EFFECT: reducing the data processing load on video encoding/decoding devices.
