FIELD: video data processing technologies.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to video data processing technologies. A device for decoding moving frames is proposed. The device comprises a module for extracting potentially suitable variants of spatial motion information, a module for extracting potentially suitable variants of temporal motion information. The apparatus also includes a history-based motion information candidate extractor configured to extract motion information candidates based on the history from a memory for storing motion information of the decoded block. Here, a candidate spatial motion information, a candidate temporal motion information, and a candidate motion information based on history are registered in the list of potential motion information candidates in this order.
EFFECT: reducing the data processing load on video encoding/decoding devices.
