FIELD: imaging technology.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to image encoding and decoding technologies in which the image is divided into blocks and prediction is performed. An image encoding device is proposed, characterized by the fact that it divides a block of the encoding tree into one or more standard blocks of in-block copying. The device contains a block for obtaining a block candidate vector, a selector, a storage device, a block for correcting the boundary of the reference area, and a bit string encoding block. In this case, the block of obtaining a block candidate vector is made with the possibility of obtaining block candidate vectors of the target encoding block in the target encoding image from encoding information stored in memory for storing encoding information. The selector is made with the ability to select the selected block vector from the candidate block vectors. The storage device is designed with the ability to store encoded images of a given number of standard blocks of in-block copying located directly in front of the target standard block of in-block copying encoding.
EFFECT: increase in the efficiency of encoding/decoding images.
