FIELD: forestry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of forestry and can be used in carrying out continuous logging in the spruce forests of the European part of the Russian Federation, the Urals and Siberia. The method includes continuous felling of ripe and over-ripe spruce plantations. In the 30-meter seed strips left every 100 m, a stepped canopy is formed from young and ripe trees by harvesting trees above the average diameter of the stand in strips 10-12 m wide on both sides of the seed strip.
EFFECT: method ensures the cessation of drying and windfall in the seed strips.
