FIELD: centrifugal separators.
SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to an element for removing a heavy liquid phase, a centrifugal separator containing this element, and a method for separating two liquid phases. The element (200) for removing the heavy liquid phase contains at least one inlet on the first side of the element for removing the heavy liquid phase, while at least one inlet is made facing the inner side of the centrifugal separator, and at least at least two separate outlet channels (271; 272) forming an outlet on the second side (220) of the element for removing the heavy liquid phase. At least a section of each of the outlet channels partially coincides with at least one inlet, thereby forming a fluid passage between at least one inlet and an outlet formed by at least two outlet channels, through which liquid can flow.
EFFECT: reducing pressure losses in the outlet passages for the heavy liquid phase, as well as ensuring a stable position of the flow interfaces.
