FIELD: image processing.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to means for image processing. The first coding block has a block size SA of N samples, with SA samples in a line perpendicular to the block edge and N samples in a line parallel to the block edge. The second coding block has a block size of SB samples per N samples, with SB samples in a line perpendicular to the edge of the block and N samples in a line parallel to the edge of the block. Values of at most MA samples of the first coding block are modified as output values of the first filter. Values of not more than MB samples of the second coding block are modified as output values of the second filter. Values of at most IA samples of the first coding block are used as input values of the first filter. Values not exceeding IB samples of the second coding block are used as input values of the second filter. Wherein SA≠SB, IA≠IB and MA≠MB. If SA=8, the filter is configured to set IA to SA/2 and MA to SA/2 or SA/2-1.
EFFECT: improving the efficiency and accuracy of deblocking while processing asymmetric filtering of both edges of the block in parallel.
