FIELD: image processing.
SUBSTANCE: result is achieved by the image processing device comprised of a block edge filtering filter configured for at least some pixels to be filtered within the deblocking range from the block edge, wherein the deblocking range is perpendicular to the block edge, determining the filtered pixel value from the original pixel value and at least one additional pixel value, determining the pixel clipping value depending on the distance of the pixel from the block edge, and clipping the filtered pixel value using the clipping value, resulting in a deblocked pixel value.
EFFECT: technical result is to increase the efficiency and accuracy of deblocking filtering.
