FIELD: mechanical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of mechanical engineering, in particular to the study and testing of borehole rod pumps. The installation for testing downhole rod pumps contains a frame with a lock-lock, made with the possibility of installing the axis of the rod pump with the required angle of inclination to the horizon, a tank with working fluid, a mechanism for reciprocating motion of the rod pump, made in the form of a hydraulic drive with a hydraulic cylinder, the rod of which is connected with a plunger with the possibility of limited axial movement relative to it. The hydraulic cylinder is equipped with limit switches. In this case, the pump is placed in a cylindrical housing with the formation of a sealed receiving tank. The pressure chamber of the pump is configured to communicate through an adjustable throttle with a tank for working fluid or with a receiving cavity.
EFFECT: modeling the deformation of stringed rods, as well as the dynamic level of the formation medium in the well, the compression and elasticity of the working medium in the cylinder, and the possibility of taking into account the effect of pressure at the pump inlet.
