SUBSTANCE: system for provision of the injection of medical fluid to a patient at home contains a medical pumping device programmed to perform an injection operation for the injection of medical fluid to the patient, containing a discharge mechanism for the injection of medical fluid, a storage device for storage of programming information, a processor device for control of the operation of the discharge mechanism according to programming information, and a reading device for reading identification information identifying labels of a fluid container containing medical fluid, and a communication device connected with the possibility of communication to the medical pumping device via a communication network. The communication device is made with the possibility of transmission of a set of prescription data, containing programming information related to specific medical fluid, to the medical pumping device. The medical pumping device is made with the possibility of reception of the set of prescription data and storage of programming information contained in the set of prescription data in the storage device. The processor device of the medical pumping device is made with the possibility of loading of stored programming information related to specific medical fluid from the storage device to perform an injection operation, if identification information read by the reading device relates to specific medical fluid. The communication device is connected with the possibility of communication to the medical pumping device via the long-range wireless bidirectional communication network LoRaWAN according to LoRa protocol, designed for battery-powered devices and having the possibility of control of a data transfer rate. A method for provision of the injection of medical fluid to a patient at home is disclosed.
EFFECT: provision of simple and reliable programming of a medical pumping device for performing an injection operation.
