SUBSTANCE: group of inventions refers to medicine and medical equipment. A method for monitoring a radiopharmaceutical injection progress involves measuring and monitoring activity of a radiopharmaceutical left in a part of a disposable kit for radiopharmaceutical injection; the measuring and monitoring procedures accompany a radiopharmaceutical injection. This also involves displaying activity of the radiopharmaceutical left in the part of the disposable kit for radiopharmaceutical injection in the process of the radiopharmaceutical injection. That is followed by detecting if the activity of the radiopharmaceutical left in the part of the disposable kit for injection differs from an expected activity of the radiopharmaceutical left in the part of the disposable kit for injection at a pre-set moment of time. What is also controlled is a delivery failure if the activity of the radiopharmaceutical left in the part of the disposable kit for injection differs from the expected activity of the radiopharmaceutical left in the part of the disposable kit for injection at the pre-set moment of time. There are also disclosed a control system for monitoring the radiopharmaceutical injection progress, a machine-readable data carrier storing monitoring software, a radiopharmaceutical delivery device and methods for flow metering.
EFFECT: inventions enable the early detection of delivery failures.
