SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medical and communication engineering. The medical communication system (10) has equivalent devices (44, 46) devices which provide medical services. A mobile device (12) has a short-range interface device (22) for detecting the equivalent devices (44, 46) and corresponding services of the equivalent devices (66). A positioning component (14) determines the position of the mobile device (12). An identification component (60) reads the patient identification device (48) and the doctor identification device (50) and identifies the patient (32) and the doctor (30) in the position of the mobile device (12). A visibility manager (120) limits information and services accessible for the mobile device (12), relevant to the current context of information and services which are based on at least one of the identification data of the patient (32), identification data of the doctor (30) and the identified position of the mobile device.

EFFECT: reduced load on the communication network.
