SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the food and fat and oil industries. Method for producing a non-fat product from a source material made from a fat or oil-containing plant-based or animal-based product, including the following stages: providing the source material at a temperature of at least 35°C and extracting most of the extractable oil or fat initially contained in the plant-based or animal-based product from the source material by means of a first decanter centrifuge so as to preserve the residual solid and liquid substances forming a product with a low fat content, wherein the first decanter centrifuge has a two-phase type wherein the residue is in the form of a suspension. System for producing a non-fat product from a source material produced from a fat or oil-containing plant-based or animal-based product includes a heater for heating the source material to a temperature of at least 35°C and a first decanter centrifuge for extracting most of the extracted oil or fat initially contained in the plant-based or animal-based product from the source material and obtaining the residual solid and liquid substances forming a product with a low fat content, wherein the first decanter centrifuge has a two-phase type wherein the residue is in the form of a suspension.
