FIELD: chemical technology.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of chemical technology and can be applied to the disposal of plastic containers for petroleum products in remote areas. In the method for recycling spent plastic containers for petroleum products located in remote territories, before the grinding process, the spent containers are sorted into two unequal batches and each container is marked in the corresponding batch, the first batch includes containers containing the minimum amount of liquid residues of petroleum products and which will be crushed, and the second batch includes containers in which the crushed material will be filled in, while after crushing the first batch of containers, all containers from the second batch must be completely filled with crushed material. The size of the crushed particles is determined from the condition of ensuring bulk density corresponding to no more than the density of petroleum products with which the container was previously filled, and the conditions for ensuring the placement of the crushed packaging of the first batch in the container of the second batch. The mass of the crushed material loaded into the container should not exceed the initial mass of the refueled petroleum products. Containers with crushed material are loaded onto pallets that were used for the delivery of containers with petroleum products, and are delivered to a central recycling system located, for example, at the places of manufacture of containers. The shredder device contains a loading hopper, adjustable rotating cutting elements, a flap for unloading, a loading hopper in the form of a cylinder with a diameter equal to the maximum diameter of the body of the crushed container. Three lines have been introduced to supply containers for grinding, containers for loading and loaded containers. The crushed material is loaded through a flexible hose connecting the controlled flap to the inner cavity of the container. The control unit stops the rotating unit for crushing containers when the container is completely filled with crushed material.
EFFECT: crushing containers for petroleum products and loading the crushed material into the same container.
