FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to recycling explosive materials extracted from ammunition, and can be used in producing industrial explosives. The method involves coating grains of ground gunpowder with a protective layer of trinitrotoluene. The method of recycling explosive materials is based on use of a high-output apparatus for coating gunpowder grains with trinitrotoluene in a vibrofluidised bed.
EFFECT: invention provides a high-output method of recycling gunpowder and trinitrotoluene by producing water-resistant explosive pyrotol 90/10, which is a granular composite material consisting of grains of ground gunpowder, whose surface is completely coated with trinitrotoluene and is meant for blasting work on day surface with manual charging of a well of any degree of water cut.
