FIELD: electrical engineering.

SUBSTANCE: electric engine has a stator and a rotor configured to rotate relative to the stator around the axis of the engine. The electric engine comprises a tilt measurement unit with at least one sensor and one set of sensor electronics. At least one sensor is located in an unchanged position and orientation relative to the stator. The sensor electronics control said at least one sensor. At least one sensor is configured to generate measurement results allowing concluding on the spatial orientation of the sensor and, at the same time, on the spatial orientation and mounting position of the electric engine.

EFFECT: increase in the reliability of operation of the electric engine.
