FIELD: biotechnology.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of biotechnology and can be used in medicine, food and pharmaceutical industries. The method for obtaining a DNA-containing preparation for oral administration consists in isolating the target product from a natural source - the seminal glands (milk) of fish of the salmon family or the sturgeon family, by homogenizing the raw material in a citrate-salt solution, followed by diluting the homogenate with the same solution until a homogeneous mixture is obtained. Dry sodium chloride is introduced into the resulting mixture with constant stirring until a saturated sodium chloride solution with increased viscosity is formed. Then the solution is diluted with water at least 10 times, the stirring is stopped and kept until viscous clots appear, floating to the top of the solution, where these clots are collected, redissolved in a citrate-salt solution, and sonicated to obtain DNA fragments no longer than 500 pairs nucleic bases. Purification and isolation of the target product is carried out by adding at least 2.5 volumes of ethyl or isopropyl alcohol cooled to 4°C. In the final stage, the product is dried, crushed and stored in a dark room at a temperature not exceeding 20°C.
EFFECT: method makes it possible to obtain a DNA-containing preparation that has high bioavailability, efficiency, and is also suitable as a source of DNA in dietary supplements.
