FIELD: biotechnology; biochemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of biotechnology and biochemistry, in particular to methods for producing biologically active substances based on nucleic acids, namely, to obtaining sodium salt of DNA isolated from the microalga Chlorella vulgaris. The method of obtaining sodium nucleinate from microalgae provides mechanical lysis of the cell wall of microalgae, purification of biomaterial from lipids, pigment complex, polysaccharides, proteins, etc., hydrolysis in citrate-saline solution, disposal of cell sludge and denatured proteins, precipitation of nucleic acids in the form of sodium salts ethanol, isopropanol or acetone, centrifugation, washing the precipitate with ethyl alcohol, drying and grinding the preparation to a fine powdery state.
EFFECT: resulting product can be used as an immunostimulant based on nucleic acids for veterinary use in treatment of animals, as well as find application in the chemical-pharmaceutical, biotechnological, veterinary and food industries.
