FIELD: electrical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to a light-emitting device for covering a surface section. Light-emitting device (1) contains light-emitting units (10) located according to plane filling scheme (20) for covering a significant surface section. Separate light-emitting units (10) contain inner electrical circuit (11) and two connecting areas (12, 13) providing electrical access to inner electrical circuit (11) from the outer side of light-emitting units (10). Light-emitting units (10) are electrically connected through their connecting areas (12, 13) and are overlapped in sections of their connecting areas (12, 13). One of connecting areas (12, 13) of separate light-emitting units (10) is electrically connected to corresponding connecting areas (12, 13) of two other light-emitting units (10) at the same time.
EFFECT: provision of a possibility of operation of a light-emitting device submersed into fouling-causing liquid.
