FIELD: electrical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of electrical engineering, namely, to a method for manufacturing a pyrotechnic resistor usable in ignition tools. The technical result of the invention is achieved by the method including the formation of a resistive active area and planar contacts in a single process cycle using one material – titanium or an alumotitanium alloy according to the production technology for thin-film chip resistors by vacuum application of resistive and contact materials on a dielectric substrate. Mounting female contacts are also formed in an additional cycle using a sublayer of titanium or an alumotitanium alloy with an additional barrier layer of nickel and a final layer of soldered coating, wherein the topology in the transitional area from the planar contacts to the active zone is made in the form of radial elements.
EFFECT: optimised production technology, improved reproducibility of characteristics, and increase in the reliability of pyrotechnic resistors.
